Prior to joining Shah Law Group, Ms. Ortiz was in-house counsel for a non-profit organization as well as for various start-up companies in the technology industry. At Shah Law Group, Ms. Ortiz focuses on representing parties involved in Employment Law and Personal Injury Law matters.
Ms. Ortiz currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Women Lawyers Association and the OCWLA Foundation. She is also an active member of the OCWLA Book Club.
Ms. Ortiz has a long history of volunteering in the local community. For the past 3 years, she has held the position of District Leader Volunteer with the United States Humane Society. Through this role, she actively participates in ongoing federal, state, and local legislative advocacy and reform campaigns advocating for animal rights.
California born and raised, Ms. Ortiz earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton. Staying local, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law where she was part of the founding chapter and elected as Vice Justice for the legal fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta. She also studied abroad in Greece, Italy, and Spain through the University of Miami Law School.
